PR36 Mounting Press Capable of both single and dual sample mounting, the PR36 is ideal for a variety of sample mounting materials. Its space-saving design and convenient benchtop style make it the perfect fit for labs of all sizes that are looking for an efficient, durable mounting press. A rugged mold enclosure system allows the sample to be inserted and removed easily and safely, while quick heating and cooling of the sample leads to a shortened run-time. Fully-automatic operation (pressurizing, heating, and cooling) frees the operator to perform other laboratory tasks. An adjustable cooling function ensures sample conditions are right for molding thermosetting plastics or acrylic. Additional Features • Intuitive operation – exchange mold sizes quickly and easily in a matter of minutes • Available 1.0 in, 1.25 in, 1.50 in; and 32 mm, 40 mm, and 50 mm mold sizes (Dual mounts not available on 50 mm assemblies) • Cycle Completion alarm notifies you when your sample is ready • Electro-hydraulic design for extremely quiet operation, with no compressed air required • Selectable between Fahrenheit or Celsius temperature readings • Optional water flow adapter allows for transparent Lucite mounts Easy-to-read LED and sample programming • Pre-heat Mold cylinder temperature can be maintained at 55 °C (131 °F) for faster mounting cycle times without the long wait Back- and -forth slide and flip motion mold enclosure provides easy access to mounts
