These models are of a rugged design and are fitted with microprocessor controls. Heating and Cooling q Unique pulsed heating and cooling is very energy- efficient. q Quiet hermetically sealed compressor, with air cooled condenser. q Low wattage heaters are bonded to the outer wall of the chamber to eliminate ‘hot-spots’. Construction All models are made from rust resistant steel finished in tough white stove enamel paint. Inner chambers are made from stainless steel and have adjustable shelves. The unique LEEC cooling system controls refrigerant flow to the evaporator, thereby eliminating the possibility of unwanted overcooling. Heating is pulsed only as required. Pulsing is a very energy-efficient method of achieving stable temperature control and eliminates the need for autodefrosting except at the lowest of operating temperatures. Note LEEC also manufacture a range of Separate Self-contained Refrigeration Units to use with LEEC Precision Incubators.
