• Microtome: Section thickness adjustable from 2–60 µm, total specimen feed of 25 mm, vertical stroke of 59 mm, and maximum specimen size of 55 x 55 mm or 50 x 80 mm. Specimen orientation is adjustable to 8° on x, y, z-axis. Electric coarse feed options are slow at 600 µm/s and rapid at 900 µm/s.
• Refrigeration System: Operates at 50 Hz/60 Hz. The cryochamber temperature ranges from 0 °C to –30 °C, with a cooling time to –30 °C in a maximum of 6 hours at 22 °C ambient temperature. Features automatic hot gas defrost with one cycle per 24 hours, lasting 12 minutes.
• Quick-freeze Shelf: Maximum cooling to –35 °C, with 10 freezing stations and manual hot gas defrost lasting 12 minutes.
• Dimensions: Width without handwheel is 600 mm, with handwheel is 730 mm, depth is 730 mm, height is 1140 mm, and weight is approximately 135 kg.
