What does FusionOptics™ mean? Conventional stereomicroscopes have two identical beam paths that reveal a spatial impression of the sample. Leica Microsystems' innovative FusionOptics™ technology, on the other hand, takes advantage of a neurological phenomenon: the microscope's left beam path has a great depth of field, while the right beam path shows an image with super-high resolution.
