OxyProbe®

Product catalog summary
Overview
The OxyProbe® Dissolved Oxygen Sensors by LTH Electronics are designed for microbial fermentation and cell culture bioprocess applications in fermentation vessels and bioreactors. They are available with various process connections to fit different port types.

Unique Features
OxyProbe® sensors use mechanical seals with o-rings, eliminating adhesives that could fail. This design enhances durability and simplifies cathode replacement.

Sensor Models
  • D400 & D405: Designed for 25 mm side ports, these sensors fit directly into the vessel, reducing contamination risks. They feature a modular design for easy maintenance.
  • D470 & D475: Fit into a 25 mm side port with a 1.5” sanitary flange, eliminating housing needs and reducing contamination risks. They require a port angle of at least 15° above horizontal.
  • D210 & D215: Fit into a 1.5” sanitary pipe tee, not intended for standard 25 mm ports but compatible with NovAseptic ports. They share interior design and parts with other 25 mm OxyProbes®.

OxyProbe®-2

What makes OxyProbe® sensors unique? The internal seals of an Oxyprobe® are all mechanical seals using o-rings. There are no adhesives to leak or fail in process, making this a more rugged and reliable sensor. Replacing the cathode is also much easier and faster since there is no sealant to clean from the threads. No sealant also makes the job of replacing the cathode much faster and cleaner. D400 & D405 OxyProbe® Dissolved Oxygen Sensors The OxyProbe® dissolved oxygen sensor offers the most rugged design for 25 mm side ports. It fits directly into the vessel, eliminating the need for a housing,...
