Optimization and Recommendations
The kit is optimized for total DNA isolation from stool samples using MagSi-ST10 magnetic beads. For hard-to-lyse bacteria, mechanical disruption with GP Lysis Tubes is recommended. High-powered bead beating can be used for stronger homogenization.
