Intended use magtivio's MM-Separator 50 P is intended for magnetic separation in conjunction with the MagSi-cfDNA kit from large volume human biological samples for isolation and purification of nucleic acids. MM-Separator 50P is especially designed for optimal magnetic bead separation in terms of speed and bead pellet positioning, as well as stability and user-friendliness. Art.No.: MDMG0015 The MM-Separator 50 P is designed for manual use with 4 x 50 mL tubes. MM-Separator 50 P enables easy separation of beads from liquids for processing samples with working volumes up to 50 mL. Two magnets per tube position allow for single or double side-collection. The separator is designed to hold four 50 mL tubes in a stable upright position for fast separation and easy handling in large volumes. MagSi beads typically collect from the solution to the side of a 50 mL tube between 10 seconds and 1 minute (depending on the type of beads and application). II. Product description MM-Separator 50 P is a magnetic separator for for manual processing of high volumes in 4 x 50 mL tubes. The neodymium (NdFeB, NIB, or Neo) magnets used for this separator are optimized to enable fast separation for minimum collection time. Figure 1. MM-Separator 50 P with two 50 mL tubes.
