Competent, Consistent, & Compliant Automatic Water Softeners FLECK® Control Valve The Water Softener Systems are designed to automatically remove calcium and magnesium hardness in an incoming water supply. Uses high polystyrene cation resin and requires dry salt for regeneration of exhausted resins. Water softeners will automatically regenerate based on capacity working through the principal of ion exchange. Consists of a fiberglass mineral tank, PVC internal distributor, automatic control valve, gravel, bags of softening resin, and a brine tank with float assembly. Time-tested hydraulically balanced piston, seal and spacer design to pilot service flow and regeneration. Food & Beverage Industry System Specifications Solid, lead-free brass valve body for superior strength and durability. Backwash capacity handles tanks up to 30” diameter. Designed with Top Mount 1.5” Inlet/Outlet Fleck control valves. 1-1/2” top mount control valve ideal for commercial/ industrial applications. All control valves are equipped with standard 7-day timers and dry contacts for interlock capability. Consistent brining regardless of salt levels with timed brine refills. Add approximately 18” to height of tank to include control valve dimensions. Drain pipe size is 3/4 or 1” NPT. Water flows from left-to-right when viewing timer.
