Competent, Consistent, & Compliant Posiclear™ Capsule Filters Medical Device Bacteria & Endotoxin Control For Portable Reverse Osmosis Systems & Dialysis AAMI Water Points of Use. Control of bacteria and endotoxin contamination in a hemodialysis water system is a critical parameter. Selection of a final filter requires demonstrated endotoxin removal and economical performance. The Posiclear filter is FDA 510(k) cleared and uniquely designed for use on portable and central water treatment applications. The Posiclear filter is manufactured with a positively charged pleated Nylon 6.6 filter membrane and removes bacteria and endotoxin from the liquid by size exclusion and adsorption mechanisms. To help keep the water system clean, the filter is compatible with hot water (90°C) and peracetic acid disinfection procedures.
