The MDE Sensoriscan NM-01 CPT is a portable, non-invasive medical device designed for the early detection and assessment of peripheral neuropathy. It aims to prevent limb loss by identifying nerve damage before symptoms appear.

Functionality
The device assesses peripheral sensory nerve function by delivering low-level electrical stimuli through the skin to determine the current perception threshold (CPT). It uses three specific frequencies (2000 Hz, 250 Hz, and 5 Hz) to selectively stimulate different nerve fibers, providing a detailed evaluation of nerve health.

Applications
The MDE Sensoriscan is suitable for use in outpatient clinics, hospitals, and home care environments. It automatically records data and generates reports to support diagnosis and follow-up.

Current Perception Threshold (CPT) Testing
The CPT test measures the patient's perception threshold at selected skin sites using precise electrical stimulation. The patient indicates when the sensation is first felt, allowing the device to calculate an accurate CPT value. This value helps detect early or subclinical neuropathies, supporting early detection of conditions such as diabetic neuropathy, kidney disease-related nerve damage, or chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy (CIPN) symptoms.
