Semiautomatic non-repositionable needles for pre-operative localization of mammary nodules AutoMark (PNA) is a needle equipped with a non repositionable stainless steel wire for pre-operative localization of non palpable breast lesions. It is provided with a wire activation system by pressing a button enabling the doctor to use only one hand in order to let the other one free to manipulate the ultrasound guidance or other devices. AutoMark needle is equipped with: - AISI 304 steel cannula with lancet tip to permit high penetration capacity avoiding excessive deflection and maximizing the precision of insertion; - transparent luer cone with insertion funnel that allows an easy re-introduction of the wire. Centimeter markings and sliding stopper on the cannula surface enhance an easy identification of the insertion depth. The needle is provided with a special clamp to fix the protruding wire to the skin avoiding its movement.
