Needle with retractable stylet for thoracentesis/paracentesis procedures and gas insufflation VeresS needle (AV) is used for percutaneous drainages of ﬂuid in thora-paracentesis and laparoscopy procedures. The needle is provided with stainless-steel AISI 304 cannula with triple face sharpening tip, retractable stylet ables to move back in case of contact with tissues or organs. The device can be provided with the following stylet variants: A- open tip and one hole on the cannula, B- closed tip and two opposite side holes, C- closed tip and three windows at 120°.
