REF 1202 / 1210 (Medijet®) INTENDED USE This circuit is for nCPAP applications. Use it together with Medijet® generators. Therefore pay attention to the Medijet® user manual. It is a non-sterile and disposable circuit for single patient use only. Disposable breathing circuits made of corrugate tube are a safe, convenient and cost-effective solution for linking the patient to the driver. TСОΝsвstОm’sΝsmallΝаОТРСtΝreduces the risk of trauma to the patient. Nevertheless the weight of the circuit is not allowed to pull on the connection to the patient. The connections in the circuit are fixated to ensure gas tightness and prevent leakage. USE IN COMBINATION WITH Generator: Medijet® 1000/ 1010/ 1020 Humidifier: F&P MR810 Medijet® circuits are NOT allowed to use in combination with InfantFlow generator. Insert the chamber into the Humidifier. Connect tube b to the ventilator and the chamber. Connect tube a to the chamber. Attach the Medijet® generator to tube a. ® ® MEDIJET : Connect the pressure line c with the driver and the Medijet . Test the function and the tightness without contact to the patient according Medijet®´s user manual. The system is ready for use. Exchange the circuit regularly – every 7 days is recommended. WARNING DO NOT – reprocess this single use circuit DO NOT – soak, rinse, wash or sterilize this product DO NOT – use humidifier without gasflow DO NOT – Щull,ΝstrОtcСΝШrΝ“mТlk”ΝtСОΝcТrcuТtΝtubТnР DO NOT – use this circuit if gas temperatures in the outlet of the humidifier can exceed 154°F (68°C) DO NOT – use this circuit if any connections are loose The circuits must NOT be allowed to sag between the patient and the humidifier, thereby preventing a siphon from developing. The circuits must NOT be connected to cold bridges, such as a bed, for example. The temperature sensor near the patient must not be affected by heat from the incubator. The influence of external temperature fluctuations should be avoided for the entire system. The humidifer should be located lower than the patient. CAUTION Discard the circuit if the whole circuit or components are damaged or if damage is suspected. Only single patient use is allowed. The patient should be constantly monitored whenever this device is in use. Connect the circuit with the ventilator/ driver and Medijet® and test the whole assembly before application to the patient. Storage of the circuit has to be clean and dry.
