Overview
The VenoScreen® plus is a non-invasive, automated, and portable measuring device designed for venous diagnostics using Light-Reflection-Rheography (LRR). It is intuitive, ready-to-use, and time-efficient, making it suitable for clinical settings.

Measuring Method
The device uses non-visible infrared light emitted into the skin surface. Blood absorbs this light more effectively than other tissues, allowing the sensor to measure the reflected light, which corresponds to the blood volume in the skin area. LRR analyzes changes in venous blood volume, which are dependent on venous blood pressure in the legs. The examination involves emptying the veins using the muscle pump and recording the refilling process to diagnose venous insufficiencies and assess muscle pump function.

Device Configuration
The VenoScreen® plus includes a measuring unit with an integrated thermal printer and a mobile color display with a touchscreen for operation and displaying results. It is designed to be user-friendly.
