VenoScreen®

Product catalog summary
Introduction
The VenoScreen® is a non-invasive, automated, and compact device designed for venous and arterial vascular diagnostics using Light-Reflection-Rheography (LRR) and Photo-Plethysmography (PPG). It is intuitive, self-calibrating, and time-efficient.

Measuring Methods
Light-Reflection-Rheography (LRR / D-PPG): This method measures venous pump volume and refilling time after a muscle pump test to assess venous valve function and muscle pump efficiency. It uses non-visible infrared light on the lower legs to reflect changes in venous blood volume.
Photo-Plethysmography (PPG): This method measures arterial pulse waves in fingers and toes to diagnose peripheral circulatory disturbances. It evaluates changes in infrared light absorption due to arterial pulsation.

Device Configuration
The VenoScreen® is a USB-driven device operated via a computer or laptop with installed measurement software. The software controls examinations, evaluates results, and includes a patient database. The device is configurable with optional LRR and/or PPG modules.

Measuring Methods Technical Data Light-Reflection-Rheography (LRR / D-PPG) is a non-invasive examination to measure the venous pump volume and the refilling time after a muscle pump test to diagnose the function of venous valves and the eff i ciency of the venous muscle pump. Therefore, non-visible infrared light is emitted into the skin surface of the lower legs and the absoption of light is measured. The changes, dependant on the venous blood volume in the surface veins, refect the processes in the deeper veins. Photo-Plethysmography (PPG) enables the non-invasive measurement of arterial pulse...
