Overview: The document describes the specifications and features of a multipurpose single-head rectangular and circular LFOV
gamma camera, suitable for SPECT, whole body, and planar imaging. The models discussed are X-Ring-R(HR) and X-Ring-C.
Detector Specifications: The gamma camera features a rectangular high stability detector with a NaI(Tl) scintillation crystal. The X-Ring-C model has a smaller crystal size. It includes 55 photomultipliers (37 for X-Ring-C) with high quantum efficiency, magnetic shielding, and long-term stability. Lead shielding is provided for 511 KeV with thickness ranging from 12–32 mm.
Detector Electronics: The system includes a compact, integrated board with computer-controlled PMT autotuning for fast gain stabilization, optical distortion correction electronics, high precision summation electronics, and an active high voltage bleeder.
Clinical Processing Workstation: The workstation runs on Windows XP and includes a dedicated nuclear medicine software package.
Gantry and Collimators: The gantry is lightweight and easy to use, with various collimators available for different energy levels, including LEGP, LEHR, LEUHR, MEGP, HEGP, and HEPH.
Imaging Table: The universal imaging table supports SPECT and whole body examinations, with a low attenuation carbon fiber pallet and motorized vertical patient positioning.
Documentation: Automated printing and reporting are supported with high-quality inkjet color and b/w hardcopy options.
NEMA Specifications (HR model): Key specifications include a field of view of 530x390 mm, energy range of 40–400 keV, intrinsic energy resolution for 99mTc at 9.7%, and various uniformity and spatial resolution metrics.
Optional Accessories: Accessories include an ECG triggering device, color laser printer, CODONICS color postscript printer, and tuning and test phantoms.
Acquisition Console: The console features full-digital electronics, a Windows XP-based computer with Intel Core 2 Duo processor, and various digital corrections and compatibility features.
Processing Workstation: Similar specifications to the acquisition console, with full DICOM 3.0 compatibility and a high-resolution LCD monitor.
