Product Overview/Applications
The Multi Application MA1000 is a versatile plant growth chamber designed to support four distinct research applications: Plant Growth, Arabidopsis, Tissue Culture, and Incubation. Each application is facilitated by a specific kit that configures airflow, lighting, and shelving to meet the unique requirements of the research. Additional options include phenolic coated coils for entomology research and network communication capabilities.

Lighting
The chamber uses high-efficiency T5 fluorescent lamps. The lighting configuration is determined by the application kit, ensuring a balanced light spectrum and adjustable light intensity for specific kits.

Airflow
Airflow is precisely managed through specially designed air plenums. Each kit has a unique airflow configuration to optimize conditions for the respective application.

Refrigeration
The MA1000 features a standard air-cooled refrigeration system that maintains uniform conditions across different kits, allowing for easy interchangeability.

Experiment Protection
User-programmable alarms monitor temperature and humidity, providing audible and visual alerts. Factory preset alarms ensure system integrity, and an alarm history recorder is available for reference.

Performance Data
The MA1000 offers a temperature range of -2°C to +45°C, with variations depending on lighting conditions. It has an interior capacity of 35 ft³ (1000 L) and different growth areas and heights depending on the kit. Light intensities vary from 125 to 700 µmoles/m²/s.

Notes

• Requires a minimum of 2" (51mm) clearance from the rear of the chamber to the back wall, or 5" (127mm) with an exhaust collar.
• Dimensions have specific tolerances and should not be scaled from the drawing.
• The PG Kit requires a minimum of 4" (102mm) space between cabinets.
