Contained within a 95 kPa IATA packaging instruction 650 compliant 10ml tube, made of 100% polypropylene, is 3ml of STM®. Our 153mm CavSwab Nasopharyngeal flocked swab with a 101.3mm breakpoint and Allium™ flock technology has been engineered with a precision scalloped surface to produce ‘cava’. This design creates a greater surface area to absorb and help collect larger amounts of the specimen. Allium flock technology refers to the unique ability of our nylon fibers, which are attached with medical grade non-toxic water-based glue, to adapt to the direction the swab is being pushed/pulled, resulting in less friction and an overall more pleasant experience for both the medical professional and the patient.
