DIGITAL BYM The DIGITAL BYM film-less digital cassette is an innovative CCD camera for small field (50 mm2), high-resolution radiography applications such as diagnostic spot mammography, needle localization and stereo-tactically guided needle breast biopsy. The DIGITAL BYM imaging system is supplied as a complete X-Ray imaging system, including the digital cassette, computer, imaging software and interface to our needlepositioning device BYM 3D. The system is composed by an 18x24 cm digital cassette with a 50x50 mm CCD image sensor. The digital cassette replaces the film cassette easily and is dropped into the standard Potter Bucky. FEATURES Drop-in replacement for film cassettes: the DIGITAL BYM has the same dimension as a standard film cassette and uses the same (or even less) X-Ray dose. Superior image quality: The low noise and high sensitivity of our CCD camera provide better images than standard film cassettes. Increased patient comfort: real-time imaging means patients spend less time clamped into a machine waiting for film to develop. A high percentage of biopsies that is successful on the first attempt. Increased patient throughput: remove 20 minutes per procedure for film processing and you can serve the next...
