To ensure a material with long standing resistance, you are advised to wash it on a weekly basis with soapy water and a soft brush (e.g. nail brush) and daily care using SURFA'SAFE from the laboratoires ANIOS. This product is both a detergent and a disinfectant which compliance with the hospital standards on surface decontamination. Products containing bleach and/or alcohol and any abrasive medium must not be used to maintain the material. Materials are designed to withstand friction and bodily fluids such as blood, sweat, sebum or urine. Improper or infrequent maintenance of the materials could lead to it becoming hard and cracking. Recovering would then be required. The current standards prohibit the use of components likely to create reactions on contact with the skin. We estimate that the service life of a well maintained material is approximately 7 to 9 years. Can be cleaned using bleach or alcohol-based detergents. Do not use acetone or white spirit.
