ExoPAS

Product catalog summary
Introduction
The Microgentas’s ExoPAS™ exosome isolation kit offers a superior alternative to traditional methods like ultracentrifugation. It provides high yield and repeatability for isolating exosomes from various biofluids.

Product Variants
- ExoPAS Original series: Suitable for plasma, serum, urine, and saliva samples.
- ExoPAS CCM series: Specifically designed for cell culture media.

Methodology
ExoPAS™ employs a precipitation-based method that enhances extracellular vesicle (EV) isolation efficiency. The kit uses unique charge-based reagents to rapidly aggregate and precipitate EVs from solutions.

Features
- Rapid operation time of 15 minutes.
- Simple and easy-to-follow protocol.
- Effective enrichment of EVs from a wide range of biofluids.
- Compatible with downstream applications such as miRNA profiling, NGS, and mass spectrometry analysis.

Product Specifications
- ExoPAS Advanced (50): Catalog number 72060, suitable for plasma, serum, urine, and saliva.
- ExoPAS CCM Advanced (50): Catalog number 72061, designed for cell culture media.
- Each package is for 50 preparations, requiring approximately 1 mL of sample volume per test.
- Includes Precipitation Solution 1 & 2, Elution Buffer, and optional Washing Buffer.

Performance Comparison
ExoPAS™ demonstrates superior EV recovery rates compared to other methods. However, it initially results in high impurity levels, which can be mitigated by an optional washing step that improves purity without compromising yield.

Analytical Results
- RT-qPCR analysis confirmed consistent results with NTA analysis for EV-derived miRNAs.
- Western blot assays indicated a high number of EVs with ExoPAS, showing a thick band.

Conclusion
ExoPAS™ is an efficient and reliable method for exosome isolation, offering high recovery rates and compatibility with various analytical techniques.

ExoPAS-2

EXOSOME ISOLATION ExoPAS™ particle concentration led to the best EV recovery rate among other EV isolation methods. RT-qPCR analysis was performed to identify EV-miRNAs. The results were consistent with the NTA analysis (EV-derived miRNAs ; has-let-7a-5p, has-miR-142-3p). To identify surface and internal protein markers of EVs, western blot assay was used. As a result, ExoPAS showed a thick band indicating a high number of EVs. ExoPAS™ increases EV isolation efficiency but often results in high impurity levels. By adding the washing step, purity has improved. "Washing Buffer (WB) is provided...
