Thermal Fusion Technology How It Works In order to fuse and divide soft tissue, protein bonds must be denatured. While other technologies pass energy through the tissue to create heat, Microline’s Thermal Fusion achieves denaturization solely through the application of direct heat and pressure. Simultaneously Fuses and Divides Tissue A resistive heating element in the jaw of the device heats only the tissue in contact with it.
