SensoSpot® Colorimetry - 1

Data Sheet ■ Smart Imaging Solutions SensoSpot Colorimetry Low Density Microarray Analyzer Multiplexing saves time, reagents, and sample. Sensovation's SensoSpot Colorimetry Array Reader enables users to detect and analyze many assays in each well of a 96-well-plate, multiplexed arrays on slides or proprietary formats. SensoSpot Colorimetry is designed to analyze low density microarrays with spot sizes of 50um and larger. SensoSpot Colorimetry is ideally suited for multiplexed ELISAs and genotyping assays and is easily integrated with standard laboratory Sensovation's SensoSpot Colorimetry Microarray Analyzer is an innovative detection instrument capable of reading multiplexed arrays in a variety of formats. SensoSpot Colorimetry is user-friendly and especially designed for routine use in diagnostic and biochemical SensoSpot Colorimetry is desigened to measure colorimetric microarrays on transparent surfaces. For opaque surfaces, like nitrocellulose, Sensovation offers a specialized version: SensoSpot Colorimetry1^ with reflectance optics. SensoSpot Colorimetry provides fully automated analysis of microarrays in microplates, microplate strips, and slides. High resolution digital imaging of microarrays allows for high performance data acquisition. The stand-alone instrument with touchscreen display includes easy-to-use instrument control and image acquisition software with intelligent array analysis algorithms. The array analysis is based on automatic spot detection using outline feature. The spot intensities and other measurement data are listed together with statistical parameters in SensoSpot Colorimetry is a fully integrated, stand- alone instrument with touch screen and built-in PC. The instrument comes standard with ArrayReader Software, a power-ful and intelligent "on-board" instrument control and array analysis software. The microarrays are analyzed in real-time, right during measurement. Intelligent spot-tracking algorithms assure that each spot is found and analyzed based on shape and size. SensoSpot Colorimetry can read and analyze all 96 microarrays in a standard SBS microplate within less than 3 minutes. Image acquisition is performed with a scientific CCD camera, delivering high quality, 16 Bit images with excellent resolution. The imaging areas with a diameter of 6.5mm can be programmed freely on the tray which has the footprint of a SBS microplate. As a consequence any sample carrier not exceeding 85mm x 125mm can be used. This could be 4 slides in parallel using Sensovation's 4-slide holder, a 96-well plate or any customer specific biochip format. This instrument concept is unique in the industry - with obvious advantages: A compact and rugged instrument at affordable cost, providing fast result presentation with highest sampling flexibility is ideal for routine diagnostic Assay File Workbook Analysis Microarray Layout Spot Analysis Reference Pattern Image display Well Plate Spat Tracking Spot Shape OUTLINE Spot Shape asuring spot features.
