Introduction
This document outlines the EndoWave OTR Sequence FM, a procedure for shaping root canals using specific files and techniques. The sequence is based on the recommendations of Dr. Frank Maier from Tübingen, Germany.

Specifications and Initial Setup
The process begins with establishing a glide path using a #10 hand-file or the OTR1 file (ISO15/Taper4) at 500 rpm. In cases of obliteration, the MGP Kit is recommended to clear the path. The glide path is crucial for effective root canal shaping, especially in cases with severe curvature.

Glide Path Establishment
For easy cases, the OTR1 file alone can establish the glide path. However, for severe curvatures, a set of three MGP files (#10/02, #15/02, #20/02) is recommended.

Shaping the Root Canal
Once the glide path is established, the OTR2 file (#25/04 EndoWave) is used to shape the coronal and medium third portion of the root canal at 300 rpm using the OTR mode on the DentaPort ZX. The working length can be determined using the Root ZX apex locator or the Auto Apical Reverse feature on the DentaPort ZX.

Final Shaping
The #40/02 file is used to reach the apex quickly and easily. In cases of severe curvature, additional files such as EndoWave #20/04 up to #35/04 may be used to assist in reaching the apex, preparing the canal for cleaning and filling.
