All fumes or particulate are drawn directly through and away from the operator via the perforated work surface, providing excellent operator protection. The extract is provided through a central spigot within the sump situated under the worktop, which is then usually ducted direct to atmosphere Available in lengths of up to 2.5m each unit is built entirely in stainless steel, and is provided with both perforated tops and drop in troughs, allowing use in conventional mode. Available as a re-circulating unit and with many applications for Laboratory or Mortuary, the bench standard design is readily adaptable to suit client or site requirements, with a number of useful options whether staining, dissecting or as a controlled environment workstation.
