Panthera Series / FLED FLED Epi-LED Fluorescence Attachment for Panthera LEDs offer several advantages as a light source for fluorescence. They require no adjustment for optimal fluorescence excitation, enabling a plug-and-play experience. Samples can be observed immediately, thanks to no warm-up period, and an adjustable intensity protects against sample bleaching. Environmentally friendly, LEDs eliminate mercury disposal concerns. Motic fluorescence illuminators combine an LED light source with optimized filters (excitation, dichroic, and barrier) in a modular design, easily added between the stand and eyepiece tube. For safety, the LED only activates when properly mounted. An IR sensor detects user presence, automatically turning off the fluorescence when unattended and reactivating upon return. Switching between brightfield and fluorescence is quick, and both modes can be used simultaneously.
