Product catalog summary
Overview
The MEA2100-System is a versatile in vitro recording system designed for extracellular neuronal recording. It supports up to 4225 channels and offers real-time signal detection and feedback. The system is compatible with various microelectrode arrays (MEAs) and is suitable for a wide range of cell and tissue preparations.

Flexibility and Configurations
The system's flexibility is highlighted by its interchangeable contact units, allowing for configurations with 60, 120, or 256 electrodes. It can connect two MEA-headstages to one interface board, enabling recording from up to 240 channels. Multiwell solutions further increase throughput.

System Components
The MEA2100-System includes a data acquisition computer, interface board, MEA-headstage with integrated amplification and stimulation, MEAs, temperature control, and perfusion heating. It connects via a single SATA cable to the interface board and a USB cable to the computer.

Multiwell-MEA-System
This system features 24- and 96-well plates with up to 1152 electrodes, ideal for medium and high throughput electrophysiology. It includes high-quality amplifiers, programmable stimulators, and a digital signal processor for individual analyses. The system supports a high sampling rate of up to 50 kHz per channel.

CMOS-Technology
The CMOS-MEA5000-System offers high-resolution recordings with over 4000 recording sites, each sampled at 25 kHz. It includes on-chip amplification to minimize noise and is suitable for closed-loop experiments.

Microelectrode Arrays
Multi Channel Systems provides a wide variety of MEA layouts, including multi-well, hexagonal, high dense, ThinMEAs, and Pedot-CNT-MEAs. Custom layouts are available upon request.

Applications
The system is suitable for various applications, including acute slices, organotypic cultures, neuronal cell cultures, retina preparations, and stem cell-derived neurons.

Software and Accessories
The Multi Channel Suite software offers flexible data acquisition and analysis, with features like drag-and-drop instrument setup and HDF5 data export. Accessories include a video microscope table and a peristaltic perfusion system for enhanced experimental control.

Applications Acute slices Acute slice preparations can be placed on the MEA, and all electrodes can be used for simultaneous recording or stimulation. The large number of electrodes makes it possible to acquire information from all areas of your preparation simultaneously. Our MEA-Systems with integrated blanking circuit technology allow to scan easily and quickly for the best stimulation site, as the stimulation electrode can be selected by software. Perforated MEAs were specifically designed to optimize recording conditions and survival of acute tissue slices on MEAs, thereby allowing stable...

Accessories Peristaltic perfusion system Multi Channel Systems wants to make sure that you get everything you need for your experiment, including peripheral devices like the peristaltic perfusion system, the perfect addition to all microelectrode array recording systems. The peristaltic pump PPS2 has one inlet and one outlet pump. The main advantage of the PPS2 is its low pulsation. A low-pulsation construction, a brushless motor with constant rotation speed and low electromagnetic emission, and droplet isolation chambers - they all contribute to an overall low pulsation level. The flow rate of...
