The WOLF Cell Sorter and N1 Single Cell Dispenser dispensed beads with a singlet fidelity of 92.26% on 96-well plates and 93.27% on 384-well plates. Similarly, dispensing CHO cells resulted in 90.84% and 90.6% single cells into 96- or 384-well plates, respectively (Figure 1). These results are comparable to traditional FACS technology, yet with significantly lower mechanical stress. High shear stress commonly reduces colony outgrowth to below 30% with FACS. Microfluidic Cartridges The WOLF Cell Sorter has several application-specific cartridges: analysis-only, bulk/tube sorting and plate sorting.
