The Life/form® Bariatric CPR Manikin is designed to simulate the realistic size and appearance of an older, heavier cardiac victim, which is commonly encountered by rescue personnel. General Instructions for Use
Removing the Airway:
  1. Remove the face insert and connector from the face cavity.
  2. Pull the overlay skin from the shoulders and fold down.
  3. Lift off the sternum plate and foam inserts to expose the lung/airway system.
  4. Tilt the head back to expose the airway valve and manifold cap.
  5. Remove and discard the lung/airway system and airway valve.
Installing the Airway:
  1. Locate a new lung/airway system.
  2. Press the red exhaust manifold cap onto the airway valve.
  3. Insert the airway valve stem through the face hole.
  4. Position the connector on top of the face and press into the valve stem.
  5. Ensure proper positioning of the airway valve stem and manifold.
  6. Arrange the lung over the chest and replace the foam inserts and sternum plate.
  7. Roll the overlay skin back up over the shoulders.

Cleaning and Disinfecting
  • Wash all vinyl parts with water and mild detergent. Do not wash foam pads.
  • Dispose of face inserts after each session or clean thoroughly for reuse.
  • Avoid placing the manikin on printed surfaces to prevent staining.
