Product catalog summary
Product Overview: The Embarc™ Microcatheter is designed for use in small vessels and superselective anatomy during diagnostic and interventional procedures in the peripheral vasculature. It is not intended for coronary or neuro vasculature use.
Specifications: The microcatheter is available in standard and high flow types with varying working lengths (105 cm, 135 cm, 150 cm) and outer diameters (2.4 F and 2.8 F). The maximum dynamic infusion pressure is 1000 psi, and static pressure should not exceed 300 psi.
Key Features:
  • Atraumatic distal tip for improved trackability and vessel selection.
  • Multiple-layer braided construction for enhanced visibility, kink resistance, and stability.
  • GLYCE™ Hydrophilic Coating for increased trackability and vessel navigation.
  • Radiopaque lumen and RO marker for high visibility under fluoroscopy.
  • Strain relief and overmolded clear hub for improved kink resistance and precise catheter control.
Warnings and Precautions: Do not exceed the specified infusion pressures to avoid catheter rupture and patient injury. The Glyce Hydrophilic Coating must remain hydrated, and excessive tightening of the rotating hemostatic valve should be avoided. The device is intended for use by trained physicians.
Ordering Information: Consult local representatives for product availability outside the United States. The product is restricted to sale by or on the order of a physician.
