Product catalog summary
Overview: The document provides detailed information about the HIV 4th generation test kit developed by Neo-nostics (Suzhou) Bioengineering Co., Ltd. This kit is designed for the detection and differentiation of HIV-1 and HIV-2 antibodies and P24 antigen in human serum, plasma, or whole blood.
Intended Use: The test kit is used as a screening tool and aids in diagnosing HIV infections. Reactive specimens must be confirmed with alternative methods like ELISA or PCR.
Principle of Operation: The test is a lateral flow chromatographic immunoassay. It uses a test cassette with a conjugate pad containing recombinant HIV-1+2 antigen and anti-P24 antibody conjugates. The presence of HIV antibodies or antigens is indicated by the formation of a burgundy band on the test cassette.
Materials Provided: The kit includes 25 test devices, desiccant pouches, extraction tubes, and two bottles of extraction buffer. A leaflet with instructions is also provided.
Warnings and Precautions: Users must read the instructions thoroughly before use. The test should not be conducted with expired devices or hemolized blood. Protective clothing and gloves are recommended during handling.
Specimen Collection and Handling: Blood specimens should be collected via venipuncture, and plasma or serum should be separated by centrifugation. Specimens should be stored at 2-8°C if not tested immediately and can be frozen for longer storage.
Test Procedure: The test involves adding a drop of serum, plasma, or whole blood to the test device, followed by buffer. Results are read within 15 minutes.
Interpretation of Results: The presence of a C band indicates a valid test. The development of Ab T and/or Ag T bands indicates a positive result for HIV antibodies and/or antigens. Absence of these bands suggests a negative result. Invalid tests lack a C band.
Quality Control: The test includes an internal control (C band) and recommends external controls for new operators, new kit lots, or when storage conditions vary.
Contact Information: Neo-nostics (Suzhou) Bioengineering Co., Ltd. is located in Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province, China. The company is ISO certified.

HIV0123 HIV 4TH TEST KIT-3

HIV 4th Gen Test Kit (Serum / Plasma/ Whole Blood) INTENDED USE with goat anti rabbit IgG antibody. When an adequate volume of test specimen is dispensed into the sample well of the testcassette, the specimen migrates by capillary action across the cassette. HIV P24 antigen, if present in the specimen, migrate through the conjugate pad where they bind to the anti-P24 antibody conjugate. The immunocomplex is then captured on the membrane by the pre-coated anti-P24 antibody, forming a burgundy colored band on the Ag T region, indicating a positive test result. Absence of this band in the test region...
