Avoid water sources pollution Avoid water sources pollution Advantages of on-site treatmenet Wastewater generated by healthcare facilities, and in particular from infectious diseases wards and autoptic rooms, might contain chemicals, pharmaceuticals, pathological biological agents, and even radioisotopes. Often, hospitals are not connected to efficient sewagetreatment plants and, sometimes, municipal sewerage systems may not even exist. In many developing countries, the majority of healthcare wastewater is discharged into surface watercourses or percolates into underlying groundwater aquifers...

CYCLE PROCESS TREATMENT PROCESS At first the sedimentable solids are removed from the raw wastewater, which is partially clarified before entering the next stages. The tank has a predefined volume in order to obtain the correct hydraulic retention time (HRT). The transferring pump system, under PLC control, modulates the plant flow rate and transfers the wastewater to the separator tank. The third stage consists of a disinfection tank fit with a special reactor for the multiple injection of the disinfectant and an inner mixing system. The reactor is designed in order to assure the correct contact...
