Open the catalog to page 2OBJECTIVE OF VIRTUOSO Objective of virtuoso The main aim of VIRTUOSO is to reduce the number of SARS-CoV-2 infections due to health-care-associated transmission and consequently reduce the number of healthcare workers affected by COVID19. To achieve this, VIRTUOSO aims to develop a ventilation system to isolate hospital rooms hosting infectious patients. Complete isolation of the contaminated environment is achieved by bringing the hospital room under negative pressure. VIRTUOSO can automatically guarantee and maintain this condition. Open the catalog to page 4SYSTEM COMPONENTS The main components of the system are: EVS Fan Box (Ref. 2) dim. 1000x580x580mm complete with silencers, pressure differential and motor disconnect switch with two outlet channels installed in the false ceiling of the bathroom of the room. Two shutters with high switching speed (ref. 3 and 4), which allow the recirculation of air inside the room (through the internal filter ref. 5) or in the corridor (through the external filter number 5). Filter replacement to be carried out by qualified personnel with suitable PPE and anti-contamination procedure with relative disposal at an authorized centre. Deactivate - system shutdown Room recirculation - activation of ventilation and damper inside the room Negative pressure Level 1 - ventilation activation, damper modulation to maintain negative pressure in the room with partial internal recirculation. When the door is opened, the ventilation rises to maximum level and the air is all sent outside for a certain period. The ventilation is then reduced and the shutters partialized for a long period until the initial conditions...
