Achieve Optimal Depth of Anesthesia Density Spectral Array (DSA) Narcotrend Compact-M Narcotrend Compact-M Brain Function Monitor for the OR and the ICU The Narcotrend Compact-M monitor measures depth of hypnosis during sedation and general anesthesia in operating rooms, intensive care units, and clinical research. It includes the Narcotrend-Index, a processed EEG parameter that allows users to monitor the effects of certain anesthetics. The monitor automatically classifies EEG on a scale of 100 (conscious) to 0 (very deep hypnosis, EEG suppression). Its age-related index helps provide dependable measurements so clinicians can manage anesthesia with confidence. The Narcotrend Compact-M was developed for use with hypnotically acting drugs in operating rooms, intensive care units, and clinical research.
