Fabrication & Material One-piece, 100% seamless, specially formulated polymer construction is structurally reinforced for superior durability, impact resistance and security. Rounded edges for added safety, grooved sleep surface for fluid management. Each piece is uniquely fashioned with proprietary TruGrain™ polymer formulation to replicate natural wood, and deliver a residential, non-institutional appearance. The seamless, one-piece construction delivers long-term, maintenance-free performance superior to wood in infection-control, fluid, tamper, infestation, contraband resistance and ligature resistant design. Contains a minimum of 45% recycled content. Made in the U.S.A. Installation for PRD100- Floor Mount Bed Proprietary ligature resistant floor anchoring system with concealed hardware (mechanism and all anchoring hardware included). Anchoring mechanism and hardware intended for concrete floors and/or walls. (Please consult contractor or facility management as necessary.) Security caulk may be applied to the perimeter after anchoring. PRD100B Free-standing Bed with Fully Enclosed Bottom: No installation necessary. Tamper-resistant non-removable steel encased floor glides are included and may be field installed. Warranty 10 year limited replacement warranty. Cleaning & Maintenance Patents Pending For routine and regular cleaning, Norix® recommends the use of Simple Green® or an equivalent cleaning product with a soft damp cloth. Prodigy® products are suitable for use with hospital-grade disinfectants (such as Virex®, Wexcide® or Oxivir Five 16®) per manufacturers’ instructions. Norix recommends inspecting fasteners after each use of the restraints, along with regular monthly inspections. Bolt-down fasteners should be tight with no gaps between the bottom of the bed and the floor. There should be no visible cracks in the caulk.
