Product catalog summary
Overview: The NOXtec is an advanced medical device designed to automatically calculate and deliver the necessary dose flow to achieve a desired PPM concentration in a patient's breathing circuit. It features a disposable respiratory flow sensor and offers both automatic and manual dose rate settings.
Key Features:
  • Configurable Operational Modes: Includes Real-time, Automatic, Semi-automatic, and Manual modes to ensure flexibility and precision in dosing.
  • Safety and Independence: The user interface, dosing, and monitoring modules operate independently to ensure patient safety.
  • Automatic Calibration: The device automatically calibrates NO, NO2, and O2 sensors, even during dosing.
  • Emergency Manual Dosing: An independent outlet allows for manual dosing even when the device is off.
  • Automatic Venting: Minimizes NO2 delivery at the start of treatment and during cylinder exchanges.
  • Room Measurement: Capable of measuring NO, NO2, and O2 concentrations in the room.
  • Connectivity: Integrates with Clinical Information Systems (CIS) or Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and offers remote technical assistance.
Technical Specifications:
  • Dimensions and Weight: Main unit: 296 x 292 x 253 mm, 6.8 kg; Trolley: 1285 x 545 x 525 mm, 33.0 kg.
  • Cylinder Capacity: Trolley can hold 2 x 10-20 L cylinders, optionally up to 2 x 34 L treatment cylinders, and 1 x 2-5 L calibration or O2 cylinder.
  • Operating Conditions: 10 to 40 °C; Storage: -10 to 60 °C.
  • Measuring Principle: Electrochemical sensors for NO, NO2, and O2 with specific measuring ranges and resolutions.
  • Dosing Modes: Real-time, Automatic, Semi-automatic, and Manual with specific flow and concentration ranges.
  • Display and Power: 10.1” color LCD screen, powered by 100-240 VAC with an internal lithium battery lasting 6 hours and a charging time of 2.5 hours.
  • Classification: Medical device Class IIb (MDR 2017/745), IP22, sound pressure 75-85 dBA.
Operational Modes Explained:
  • Real-time Mode: Dosing flow is proportional to respiratory flow with corrections every 10ms.
  • Automatic Mode: Dosing flow is calculated by averaging respiratory flow over a selectable time (3-20 seconds).
  • Semi-automatic Mode: User defines the respiratory flow value via the interface.
  • Manual Mode: Dosing controlled by a manual flow controller on the device.

NIPPON GASES NOXtecThe INO advanced device NOXtec is the innovative device that automatically calculates the dose flow necessary to reach the desired PPM concentration, thanks to the disposable respiratory flow sensor that is installed in the patient's breathing circuit. Alternatively, the dose rate can be set manually. Configurable Operational Modes • User interface, dosing and monitoring modules fully independent to guarantee the patient's safety. • Automatic calibration of the NO, NO2 and O2 sensors, available even when the device is dosing. • Different dosing modes: Real time, Automatic, Semi automatic, Manual. • Emergency manual dosing mode with independent outlet even available when the device is off. • Automatic venting procedure to minimize the NO2 delivered to the patient at the beginning of the treatment and during cylinder's exchange. • Measurement of the concentration of NO, NO2 and O2 in the room. • Hot wire pressure technology for the measurement of the flow in the inspiratory limb. • Option to integrate with Clinical Information System (CIS) or Electronic Medical Record (EMR). • Connectivity for remote technical assistance.

Configurable Operational Modes Real time: N,/N0 dosing flow is proportional to the respiratory flow all the time (correction every 10ms). Automatic: N,/N0 dosing flow is calculated averaging the respiratory flow during a time (selectable between 3-20 seconds). Semi automatic: respiratory flow value is defined by the user in the user interface. Manual: dosing is controlled by the manual flow controller incorporated to the right side of the device. Gas will be delivered by the same dosing gas outlet. Noxtec Development S.L. Spanish company with registered office at Street Guadarrama 22-24 28411...
