The O-Two Equinox® Relieve is intended to provide a 50/50% mixture of nitrous oxide and oxygen, on demand, to a conscious, spontaneously breathing, patient for the relief of pain due to trauma or other conditions where inhalation analgesia is clinically specified. Designed for use in the pre-hospital (ambulance) and In-hospital use (ER, Labor and Delivery etc.), the system has no operator or patient adjustable controls eliminating the risk of delivering a hypoxic mixture.
