MiniMIS Short Stem

Product catalog summary
MiniMIS Short Stem Overview
The MiniMIS is a cementless short stem designed for younger patients who may need multiple replacement surgeries. It allows for bone preservation and gentle handling of soft tissue, promoting early mobilization. The design accommodates various femoral neck angles and ensures stable proximal fixation in the femoral neck.

Material and Design
The stem is constructed from high-strength titanium alloy TiAl6V4 ISO 5832-3 with a rough-blasted surface to enhance secondary osseointegration. It is available in 11 standard sizes and two lateralized variants (SL and NL) in 9 sizes each. The MiniMIS can be combined with acetabular systems and femoral heads from OHST's portfolio. An extraction thread M6 is available for easier revision.

Instruments and Surgical Technique
The implantation requires a minimal set of basic instruments, provided in a universal instrument set. This set includes tools for creating the implant bed and trial positioning. The rasp design supports minimally invasive techniques, with narrow teeth placement to reduce canting and optimize insertion. The rasps are made from high-quality hardened stainless steel, ensuring durability and easy reprocessing.
