Product catalog summary
Product Overview
The Monocon Revision Stem is designed for primary treatment or as a revision stem for loosened primary endoprostheses. It is a cementless stem made from high-strength titanium alloy TiAl6V4 ISO 5832-3, ensuring high primary stability through its double-conical square design. The rough blasted titanium surface enhances permanent fixation. Available in 9 continuous sizes, it also comes in a lateralised version (NL).
Compatibility
The Monocon stem can be combined with various cup systems and femoral heads from OHST's portfolio. It features an M6 extraction thread for easier revision procedures.
Instruments Required
Implantation requires a minimal set of basic instruments, all included in a universal instrument set. This set contains tools for opening and creating the implant bed, trial components for positioning, and instruments for correcting hip stem positions during surgery. The rasps are made from high-quality hardened stainless steel, CNC ground, and plasma polished for durability and easy reprocessing. Instrument sets are available in Monolite trays.
