The Olympus MAF Type GM/TM is a portable flexible endoscope designed for mobile airway management. It features a complete standalone design with integrated components such as a monitor, LED light source, battery, and recording device, allowing for use in various locations without the need for additional peripherals or cables.

- Insertion Tube: Available in two types, with outer diameters of 3.9 mm and 5.1 mm, and working lengths of 600 mm and 910 mm respectively.
- Suction Channel: Equipped with a 2.6 mm diameter channel suitable for suction, BAL, and instrument use.
- Angulation Range: Up 120°/Down 120° for MAF-GM and Up 180°/Down 130° for MAF-TM.
Camera Specifications
- Battery: Uses a Lithium-ion battery (LI-50B) with a continuous operating time of approximately 60 minutes.
- Frame Rate: 30 frames per second for still mode and 15 frames per second for movie mode.
- Dimensions: Approximately 102 x 69 x 37 mm.
- Recording Capacity: With a 1 GB xD-Picture Card, it can store approximately 2,000 images at 1,600 x 1,200 pixels or record up to 120 minutes of video at 160 x 120 pixels.
Limitations
- The MAF-GM is not compatible with Endotherapy accessories, electrosurgery, or laser cauterization.
- Operating time may vary based on environmental conditions and battery status.
