Precautions:
  • Use only accessories and cables specified by OMRON to avoid increased electromagnetic emissions or decreased immunity.
  • Avoid using the monitor adjacent to or stacked with other devices unless verified for normal operation.
  • Maintain a distance of at least 12 inches (30 cm) between the monitor and portable RF communications devices to prevent performance degradation.
EMC Environment Guidance: The document provides guidance on the EMC environment suitable for the monitor's use.
Emission Limits and Compliance: The monitor complies with CISPR 11 Group 1, Class B for conducted and radiated RF emissions.
Immunity Test Levels:
  • Electrostatic Discharge: IEC 61000-4-2 with levels up to ±15 kV for air and ±8 kV for contact.
  • Radiated RF Electromagnetic Fields: IEC 61000-4-3 with a test level of 10 V/m from 80 MHz to 2.7 GHz.
  • Proximity Fields from RF Wireless Communications Equipment: Refer to Table 3 for specific test frequencies and immunity levels.
  • Rated Power Frequency Magnetic Fields: IEC 61000-4-8 with a level of 30 A/m at 50 Hz and 60 Hz.
Table 3 - Enclosure Port Immunity: Details test specifications for immunity to RF wireless communications devices across various frequencies and services, with immunity test levels ranging from 9 V/m to 28 V/m depending on the frequency and modulation type.

Important information regarding Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) This blood pressure monitor manufactured by OMRON HEALTHCARE Co., Ltd. conforms to IEC60601-1-2:2014 Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) standard. Nevertheless, special precautions need to be observed: • The use of accessories and cables other than those specified or provided by OMRON could result in increased electromagnetic emission or decreased electromagnetic immunity of the monitor and result in improper operation. • During measurement, the use of the monitor adjacent to or stacked with other device should be avoided because it could result in improper operation. In case such use is necessary, the monitor and other device should be observed to verify that they are operating normally. • During measurement, portable RF communications device (including peripherals such as antenna cables and external antennas) should be used no closer than 12 inches (30 cm) to any part of the monitor, including cables specified by OMRON. Otherwise, degradation of the performance of the monitor could result. • Refer to further guidance below regarding the EMC environment in which the monitor should be used.
