Model Overview: The OPTIKA B-150POL-MALC is a monocular educational polarizing
microscope designed for routine applications. It features a rotatable stage and comes with achromatic objectives of 4x, 10x, and 40x magnification.
Illumination: The microscope uses a white LED light source with a power of 1W and a color temperature of 6300K. The LED has an average lifetime of approximately 50,000 hours. Light intensity is adjustable via a knob on the left side of the frame. It includes an Automatic Light Control (ALC) system to maintain consistent light levels.
Observation Modes: The microscope supports brightfield and polarization observation modes. It includes a rotatable swing-out polarizer filter and a slide-out analyzer filter.
Focusing Mechanism: It features a coaxial coarse and fine focusing mechanism with a graduation of 0.002mm and an upper stop to prevent contact between the objective and specimen. The tension of the coarse focusing knob is adjustable.
Stage and Nosepiece: The stage is rotatable with a diameter of 120mm. The microscope has a quadruple revolving nosepiece with rotation on ball bearings.
Head and Eyepieces: The monocular observation head is inclined at 30° and rotatable 360°. It includes widefield eyepieces WF10X/18 with a field number of 18mm.
Objectives: The microscope is equipped with achromatic DIN objectives: 4X (A.N. 0.10, W.D. 18 mm), 10X (A.N. 0.25, W.D. 7 mm), and 40X (A.N. 0.65, W.D. 0.53 mm). All objectives are treated with an anti-fungus treatment.
Condenser: It includes an Abbe condenser with N.A. 1.2, which is precentered.
Dimensions and Weight: The microscope measures 350 mm in height, 170 mm in width, and 210 mm in depth, with a weight of 4 kg.
Accessories: The microscope comes with an instruction manual and a dust cover.
