Who We Are Ortho Development Corporation is a medical device design, manufacturing, and sales company. We develop and market orthopedic implants and surgical instrumentation for knee and hip replacement, trauma fracture repair, and spine treatment. The company was founded in 1994 and is located in the Salt Lake City suburb of Draper, Utah. Ortho Development is passionate about making the best, clinically-proven, high-performance orthopedic devices in the world.

Ownership Ortho Development is a privately held company. Our majority shareholder is Japan Medical Dynamic Marketing•a publiclytraded, Japanese medical device distribution company. Japan MDM has sales offices in ten major cities and a presence in more than 1,700 hospitals throughout Japan. Distribution Ortho Development products are distributed through a network of more than 50 independent distributors, including Japan MDM.
