The bendable titanium guide strip is given an angle form manually. The UHMWPE band is passed under the lamina with the help of the bendable titanium guide strip. After Titanium guide strip passed under lamina, the same strip should also be passed from the empty hole located under the tulip. After the rod placement, the band with titanium guide strip and the tulip is attached to the Spinal Tensioner to apply tensioning process. Circular part of the Tensioner has to seat on upper part of the tulip and rod. Band has to attach on the hook part of the tensioner. Ortholox Spinal Tensioner

Surgical Technique The UHMWPE band applied around the lamina and/or transverse process is passed through the tulip. Set screw that packed together with tulip is attached to the inner thread by using Simple Screwdriver / Nut Holder. Then, tulip is fixed to the rod by turning the set screw with the help of the screwdriver shaft and T-Handle (13-503-000). After finishing the clamping operation, Anti-Torque Wrench applied on the tulip and final locking done by using screwdriver shaft and T-Torque Handle - 12Nm.
