ORCAMPTM - Orthopedic set-up The ORCAMPTM is the world’s most realistic training environment for surgical teams and is designed to improve healthcare productivity. The system is a hands-on skills training solution, in a simulated operating theatre environment, including an operating table, C-arm and all control functions. The ORCAMPTM integrates a wide range of different simulation technologies in order to create the optimal realistic training set-up. This removes the necessity to practice scenarios on real patients, in real operating rooms, with consequential exposure to real radiation. Examples of procedures: A unique opportunity to improve health care productivity through the unique fusion of non-technical skills and technical skills. Whole teams are able to practice collaboratively (Surgeons, Anaesthetists, Nurses, Radiographers and Technicians). Component list The ORCAMP Orthopedic set-up consists of: • • • An Operating Table, capable of all clinically relevant movements e.g. up/down, cradle movements and tilting. Stretch table added, as an option, to table top A C-arm, capable of all clinically relevant movements including: base rotation, slide, c-arm rotation and Image Detector movements e.g. zoom and rotate. There is a camera inside the Image Detector (for use in combination with glass models). A Control Panel, including realistic controls for movement of the c-arm and the table.
