The Finetest Auto-coding™ Premium Blood Glucose Monitoring System is intended for in vitro diagnostic use, specifically for self-testing blood glucose levels using fresh capillary whole blood samples. It is not suitable for diagnosing diabetes or testing newborns.
The system includes a blood glucose test meter, test strips, a lancing device, sterile lancets, and other accessories. Key features include automatic coding, a test strip ejector, and a plasma-calibrated system for easy comparison with laboratory results. The meter requires a 1.5㎕ blood sample, stores up to 365 test results, and calculates average sugar levels over preset days.
Users should follow instructions carefully, consult healthcare professionals for diabetes management, and handle blood properly to avoid health hazards. The system should be kept out of reach of children and stored away from direct sunlight and moisture.
Do not disassemble the meter. Keep it dry and clean, and avoid exposure to chemicals or direct sunlight. Replace batteries as needed and dispose of the meter and batteries properly.
Set up the meter, check the system with a glucose control solution, and perform a control solution test before testing. Collect a drop of blood and follow the testing procedure. The system automatically turns off if not used within 5 minutes.
Review and delete test results as needed. Consult a healthcare professional if results are inconsistent or fall outside the normal range. The system includes troubleshooting guidance for common issues.
The test strips are for single use and should not be reused. Conditions like dehydration or high altitudes may affect results. Interferences from substances like acetaminophen and vitamin C are minimal at normal concentrations.
The product comes with a warranty, and users are encouraged to contact local representatives for support or if any parts are missing or damaged.
Insert the test strip correctly to turn on the meter and display the code, temperature, date, and time. Apply blood to the test strip; the meter will count down from 9 seconds and display results. Avoid testing under direct sunlight for accurate results.
Use glucose control solution to check the meter and test strip functionality. Perform tests when results are inconsistent, after dropping the meter, or for quality control.
Use a lancing device with sterile lancets for single use only. Collect blood from alternative sites like the arm or palm, ensuring the area is clean and dry.
Do not share lancing devices or lancets to prevent infection. Store lancets at room temperature, away from sunlight and moisture. Discard used test strips and lancets in biohazard containers.
Review stored results and averages using the meter's built-in memory. Delete individual or all test results as needed.
Alternative sites include the dorsal hand, ventral palm, upper arm, forearm, calf, and thigh. Be aware that results from alternative sites may differ from fingertip samples, especially when blood glucose levels are changing rapidly.
Use alternate site samples for testing only before meals or more than two hours after meals, insulin doses, or physical exercise. Fingertip testing is recommended within two hours after meals, insulin doses, or exercise, or when glucose levels may be changing rapidly.
Test results can be transferred from the meter to a computer using software available on the Infopia website. A specific USB cable is required for data transfer.
Rub the test site to bring fresh blood to the surface, lance the site, and apply the test strip to the blood drop.
The meter uses two 3V Lithium batteries (CR2032). Replace when the low battery icon appears. After replacing batteries, recheck meter settings and perform a control solution test.
Clean the meter with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Avoid liquids on the meter. Clean the lancet device with soap and water, and disinfect with a bleach solution.
Various error messages and solutions are provided for issues like test strip problems, battery issues, and inconsistent results.
Dispose of the meter and batteries according to local regulations for electronic waste and batteries.
Sample type: Capillary whole blood. Sample volume: 1.5㎕. Test range: 10~600 mg/dl. Reading time: 9 seconds. Operating temperature: 10-40℃ (50-104℉).
The meter has a three-year warranty against defects, excluding misuse or damage.
