Composition

Based on Charnley’s principle, using necessary raw materials.
BonOs® R NF: 84.1% Poly(methyl acrylate/methyl methacrylate), 15% Zirconium dioxide, 0.9% Benzoyl peroxide.
BonOs® R NF Genta: 82.48% Poly(methyl acrylate/methyl methacrylate), 14.7% Zirconium dioxide, 0.86% Benzoyl peroxide, 1.96% Gentamicin sulfate.

Application Process
Mixing can be done manually or with a vacuum system. The cement becomes non-sticky shortly after mixing, allowing immediate application. Pre-chilling extends application time.

Performance

Provides reliable bone fixation and reproducible antibiotic release.
Gentamicin sulfate is released effectively over time.

Usage Instructions
At 21°C, the cement can be applied within 6 minutes after hand mixing or 4.5 minutes after vacuum mixing. Pre-chilling can extend this time.

BonOs® R NF is a fast-setting acrylic resin for use in bone surgery.
