ZELOS PEEK/TITANIUM PLIF CAGE PURPOSE OF USAGE ZELOS PLIF (Posterior Lumbar Interbody Fusion) Spinal Cages are used in the treatment of low back and lower extremity pain, numbness and partial mobility loss caused by nerve compression caused by disc degeneration between the vertebrae. In this treatment the intervertebral disc is removed, and grafts and / or intervertebral fusion cages are placed in place to fuse adjacent vertebrae.
