Procedure
1. Make an incision in the outer wall of the cyst to drain the abscess.
2. Insert the deflated silicone catheter into the abscess through the incision.
3. Inflate the catheter using a 3cc syringe filled with saline solution.
4. Once inflated, remove the syringe and needle, leaving the catheter in place.
5. After the new orifice epithelizes, remove the saline solution and catheter.
6. The abscess should shrink and heal, allowing the Bartholin gland to function normally.

It is to be used for the treatment of abscesses of the Bartholin gland usually referred to as a Bartholin cyst. The WC-400 catheter set contains the silicone inflatable catheter with a scalpel, syringe and needle. PRODUCT NO. WC-400 CAUTION Federal law requires that a physician order this device. Do not reuse for avoiding user may be infected by the microorganism. PROCEDURE Make an incision in the outer wall of the cyst to drain the abscess. After draining the abscess, insert the deflated silicone catheter through the incision and into the abscess. Using the 3cc syringe, filled with saline solution, carefully inflate the silicone catheter within the cyst cavity by injecting the saline into the catheter. Once inflated, remove the syringe and needle leaving the self-sealing saline inflated Word/Bartholin catheter within the abscess. After the epithelization of a new orifice is accomplished, the saline solution and catheter are removed from the cyst. After the catheter is removed, the abscess will generally shrink and completely heal leaving the Bartholin gland to function normally. Version 3.0
