BioCapt® Adjustable Height Microbial Impactor Ideal for viable particle contamination monitoring in controlled environments The BioCapt® Adjustable Height microbial Impactor allows the user to perform microbial air sampling in cleanroom environments for viable particle contamination monitoring. Available in 3 different flowrate models, the BioCapt Adjustable Height microbial impactor can be used with an external controlled vacuum source at 25, 50 or 100 L/min. The complete assembly is made of 316L stainless steel, graded for the autoclave sterilization process. Each impactor has 20 precision-cut radial slits and an adjustable height and plate diameter mechanism, and combines with any agar media plate that has dimensions from 86 to 92 mm and agar heights from 3 to 6 mm. These versatile dimensions allow the BioCapt Adjustable Height Microbial Impactor to be used with almost all manufactured agar plates on the market, including glass Petri plates. The 20 radial precision-cut slits ensure laminar flow, making falsepositive identification easier and maximizing collection efficiencies for viable particles in accordance with ISO 14698-1. The BioCapt Adjustable Height is available in multiple configurations, expressly designed for specialized applications such as environmental monitoring and isolator installation. It’s an easy fit in your cleanroom sample location space. Use in combination with Particle Measuring Systems’ MiniCapt Mobile and Remote Microbial Samplers, in addition to the Facility Pro monitoring system.
